Organizing a Skype call, asking around if anybody is available and actually ringing them up seems horribly clunky and unrefined next to Discord, wherein you simply put yourself in the voice channel... And if anyone wants to talk, they join too. But unlike Teamspeak and Mumble, usernames are GLOBAL! So your friends from anywhere, anywhere at all, can all use discord and not have to recreate their credentials EVERY TIME they find another place theyd like to do voice chat.
